Do I Need The WOW Mobile Phone To Join The Business?

This is another question that we get frequently, and the easy answer is “it depends”.  Each person’s situation is different.  Let me add that I make NO COMMISSION on the phone if you buy it, so I am not telling you to buy it so I can make more money from you.  But here is what I think:

YES!!!!  You NEED the phone to help your business become more successful.  Think of the phone as a tool that you need for your business.  It is so much easier to do a WOW Mobile Business Opportunity Presentation with the real WOW Mobile Phone.  I have the Samsung Galaxy i7500.  Getting the new phone when I joined was an easy decision for me because I had an older model Motorola RAZR and needed to update my phone.  It’s easier to show the tethering demonstration when you have the phone, it’s easier to show the Google Android operating system and all the apps that come with it.  It also shows that you believe in the company if you have the products they sell.  Would you buy products from a salesperson if they didn’t even use the product?

“But I already have an iPhone (or Blackberry)”, is another quote we hear often.  We explain the how the SIM card program works, but we try to convince them to get the WOW Mobile Phone.  We like to tell them, “You are a Business Owner now, start thinking like one.”  Would you send your salespeople out to demonstrate your product, and not even have the product to show?  Why would you let yourself do the same thing?  Make the decision that is best for your business.  I tell them I think the should order the phone and sell their iPhone or Blackberry.  Wanting to keep your phone is a “personal” decision, getting the new phone is a “business” decision.  Start thinking like a Business Owner.

Having the WOW Mobile Cell Phone also guarantees that the Tethering App will work.  The Techs at WOW Mobile will install and test the tethering app before they even send the phone to you.

The phone is also a business deduction.  If you are in the 20% tax bracket the tax deduction would bring the price down to around $319.  What other business can you start with a “tool” that is only $319?  You can’t buy a chainsaw, a decent drill, a laptop computer or really about anything else that will help build a real business.

The only reason I can think of where somebody shouldn’t get the phone is if they are just a cell phone service customer.  I think that is a bad decision in itself, but I’ll talk about that in another post.  If you are going to be just a cell phone service customer then you can probably get by with just the SIM card.  The 3 people you refer might be your friends or co-workers that have the same phone as you and want to see how your SIM card works.
